MEDICAL EXAMINATION, CONSULTANCY AND PRESCRIPTION FOR FEMALE WORKERS

On June 12th, 2011, Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union held the opening ceremony of the 10th Youth Volunteer Campaign in 2011, attracting the participation of 3,000 young workers, doctors and medical staffs. At the end of the ceremony, many volunteering activities took place, such as weekend sales for workers, gift-giving to disadvantaged people and free medical examination and prescription for young workers and their families.

Within the framework of general activities of the Youth Union, the Youth Union of Sai Gon 3 Company cooperated with the Youth Union of Tu Du Hospital to provide medical examination, screening, and counseling and drug prescription against common diseases in women for female workers of Sai Gon 3 Garment Joint Stock Company. The activities showed the volunteering spirit of youth union members as well as the great care of Sai Gon 3 Company for workers’ well-being, especially female workers.
