SAIGON 3 GARMENT JOINT STOCK COMPANY CELEBRATES 25TH ANNIVERSARY (1986-2011)

On 8 October 2011, Sai Gon 3 Garment Joint Stock Company celebrated its 25th anniversary (1986-2011) and 10 years of equitization (2001-2011) in a grand event.

Attending the ceremony were directors and outstanding workers throughout the Company's history, who have made great contributions to the establishment and development of the Company.

Starting as a small Factory 2, part of the City Inter-Factory, then merged with Factory 3 into Saigon 3 Garment Factory in 1986, the Company has gone a long way through 25 years of development to become a reputable corporation, having overcome many difficulties and challenges. Now known as Saigon 3 Garment Joint Stock Company, it is one of the leading export companies in Vietnam.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms.Nguyen Thi Be - now Manager of Minako 1, Minako 2 and Minako 3 factories, expressed her long-term contribution to the Company. Originally being a worker, she worked hard to get promoted to be a team leader and a manager of one, two and then three factories. She shared very touching stories at the ceremony, particularly two memorable experiences in which she detailed both the difficulties and the joy of work, as well as her honest feelings for the Company.

In addition to Ms. Be, Mr. Long, currently the leader of Electromechanical Team at Minako 3, who has been in the factory for 34 years, shared a remarkable poem called "Join us in Saigon 3" to express his sincere thoughts about working for the Company:
