Not only Ms. Lan, but most of the workers of SG3 Company are very impressed by the major changes of the cafeteria for the past 1.5 years. No more cramped space, sunlight "down the head" and rain "beating up the body", there is now an airy and spacious cafeteria with brand-new stainless steel furniture.

Those who first came here would probably be surprised to see that the managers and the workers sit down in the same place and get served the same meals and drinks. There is no difference or priority. This is a very humanistic and unique point which reflects the spirit of unity and solidarity among the people of SG3. Mr. Nguyen Khanh Linh, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, said: "All are people of SG3 so there will be absolutely no discrimination."

Meals are cooked in accordance with nutritional standards to ensure both quantity, quality and safety for workers and to provide them with sufficient energy and good health to work effectively. All ingredients are selected from reputable suppliers such as Vissan, Ba Huan, etc. to ensure food hygiene and safety even though the cost is much higher than buying from unknown sources.

The menu has many items to choose from. In addition, at noon on Saturday, workers will have some free desserts and drinks, such as soft drinks, fresh milk, flan or yogurt.

The Board of Directors said that in the near future they will hire some famous chefs to make tastier food and create more choices of meals. Each chef will be responsible for only three or six months, but have to comply with the Company’s regulations.

In addition, the airy, beautiful space of the cafeteria can be transformed into a colorful stage when the Company has special entertainment programs for employees.

All of these changes reflect the great care of the Board of Directors in order to improve workers’ lives and to bring them together.

From Lavie water to Japanese standard water purifier

In order to eliminate the distinction between the administration and the manufacturing areas, the managers of the Company has boldly replaced the unnamed drinks for workers with 19-liter cartons of Lavie water for everyday use. After that, in order to save money and to meet the standards of clean water, the Company has invested more than VND 1 billion to build a “made-in Japan” clean water system which uses an ozone- and UV-treated filtration system instead of chemicals to process water. Water samples were sent to Japan to check the quality and safety before putting into use. By now, the Company's customers, officers and workers all drink the same type of water called "SG3 water ".
