I AM A LEAN MASTER

In the first 6 months of 2014, employees of Sai Gon 3 Garment Company have actively participated in competitions of best productivity launched by the Labor Union and the Youth Union. From the competitions, many excellent individuals who have achieved high productivity and great salary have emerged. Especially, in response to the policy of applying the new LEAN Manufacturing process, the Company’s employees have tried their best to make improvements following the policy. As a result, many workers have successfully completed their assigned tasks with high productivity and earned much better salaries, and nearly 20 workers were awarded the title "I am Lean master" by the Youth Union in the first month of competition. For example, Ms.Nguyen Thi Thanh Lan - worker of Minako 1 Factory, in charge of 4 sewing steps, earns VND 10,162,172 per month, or Ms. Hoang Thi Nuong – worker of Thinh Phuoc factory, assisting 03 sewing steps other than her main responsibility, earning VND 9,570,810 per month. As many workers can flexibly work in different stages of production, the production line has become much more efficient, boosting productivity and increasing workers’ wages.
